MUST DO IN MILAN

MUST DO IN MILAN
Must do in Milan for people who are interested in something more than just shopping!

First of all, have a classic Italian breakfast in one of the most famous historical bars in the city center:

Comparino o Motta in the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery

Cova in via Montenapoleone

Cucchi in Corso Genova 1

Marchesi in via Santa Maria alla Porta 11

Villa in piazzale Cadorna 9

Remember, that you’ll have to pay extra for the service if you sit at the table. Real milanese have their breakfast at the bank.

After the breakfast you have different options:

Firstly to cycle in Milan and to feel the rhythm and atmosphere of the city with us during the city bike tour.

Secondly you can go to see the most impressive rooftop of Milan – The Duomo terraces.

The most breathtaking view and place is expecting you!

Even if there is a lift, we recommend you to take stairs, as it is faster and not very physically heavy.

After this interesting experience go to via Montenapoleone – the luxury shopping street. Of course most of us can not afford this type of closes, but it is worth to see them and to do a bit of window shopping.

best sights in Milan

Not bad, isn’t it?

So, after touching the luxury world of Milan you definitely need to have a break!

And just nearby there is a nice old area with plenty bars and restaurants. I talk about Brera. You will find the atmosphere of old Milan: quite narrow streets, churches, cobble stones, small bars, cozy terraces, elegant people on bikes. Try some real milanese dish: risotto milanese o cotoletta milanese!

I am sure you’ll like Brera district! Therefore keep exploring the old Milan! Go to the Sforza Castle and try to find all the secret doors, underground routs, royal arms and unusual stairs.

After that take a walk to Saint Ambrogio Basilic – one of the oldest churches in Milan. Even if you are not a very religious person, have a look inside! You will be amazed!

It was a long walk!

Finally it is aperitif time!

From 18:00 t0 21:00 a happy hour in all the bars of Milan, so you can have a drink with starters included.

One of the most famous places for aperitivo is the Navigli area. To get there walk from Sant Ambrogio to Corso Porta Ticinese and further to Alzaia Naviglio Grande.

In case aperitif is not enough and you still feel hungry, jump on metro and go to Isola – area full of Italian restaurants, trattorias and pizzerias. Good quality and prices!
